1. Overview

EdgeBar ("we", "our", or "the App") provides storefront conversion enhancement tools for merchants using Shopify. We are committed to protecting the privacy of our merchants and their customers.

2. Data We Collect

We believe in strict data minimization. The App collects only the minimal data required to function:

• Merchant Data: Shopify store domain, internal shop ID, and Shopify API access and refresh tokens (used strictly to manage your EdgeBar subscription).
• Customer / Storefront Data: We DO NOT collect, store, or sell any personally identifiable information (PII) of your end-customers. Clicks on the Sticky Add to Cart button are recorded only as daily totals per store, kept for up to 90 days. To prevent abuse, the visitor's IP address is used in memory by Cloudflare rate limiting at the moment of a click; we do not store it.

3. GDPR Compliance & Data Deletion

We fully support Shopify's mandatory GDPR compliance webhooks (customers/data_request, customers/redact, and shop/redact). When a merchant uninstalls the App, all associated store records, access tokens, bar settings, and click totals are automatically and permanently deleted from our database.

4. Data Storage & Security

All application settings and database records are securely hosted in Cloudflare D1 and Cloudflare KV infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit.

5. Service Providers

The App runs on Cloudflare, which processes requests on our behalf. We do not sell data or share it with advertisers.
